Join our Health Sciences Spearhead as our new Head of Department and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.
Your new role As our new Head of Department for Product Safety and Stewardship, you will lead consulting, business development and client development initiatives and portfolios in Italy and Spain, in order to develop sustainable, profitable client relationships, profitable sources of revenue and operational efficiency.
You will be part of an established global team of Product Safety and Stewardship specialists, delivering key knowledge to a range of Ramboll projects.
Our regulatory scientists characterise and effectively communicate the potential risks from chemicals and product uses and identify options for safe, state-of-the-science stewardship.
Our successful global track record includes evaluations and stewardship for chemical producers, food and food packaging, building materials, toys, cosmetics, aerospace manufacturing, medical device and electronic device manufacturing, and pesticides/biocides.
Your key responsibilities will be: Leading a team of Product Safety and Stewardship consultants across Spain and Italy.
Understanding Ramboll's strategy, vision and distinctiveness and effectively selecting, driving and leading sales to target clients in support of Ramboll's strategic direction, including proposal development.
Developing client business relationships, becoming their trusted advisor.
Becoming a thought leader in identifying regulatory/economic/societal trends and turning these into business opportunities.
Mentoring staff to help strengthen overall Health Sciences Spearhead and Service Area, and foster a team approach, especially for Italy and Spain, to project implementation and client development.
About you You have a proven background in (eco-)toxicology, biology, chemistry or similar.
You have demonstrable experience in product regulatory affairs (REACH knowledge is required, knowledge of other regulations for e.g.
biocides (BPR), Plant Protection Products (PPP), food contact materials, cosmetics, is appreciated).
You are comfortable leading a team and creating solutions that result in successful project outcomes as well as staff development.
You exhibit entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour that deliver client and business development at a level that will support the business strategy.
You are able to successfully manage others to achieve deadlines while dealing with evolving priorities, and project requirements.
You have a collaborative approach to business development and team management.
