Azienda Multinational Company Offerta The Head of Controlling leads the financial team with full responsibility for the following tasks: Acting as Financial Business Partner for key stakeholders, providing them with financial support and stimulating them in the decision-making process.
Responsible for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes and analysis to facilitate decision-making in all areas.
Drive transparency and control of industrial and product costs in plants, R&D and other functions.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions by senior management.
Evaluate and make considered recommendations on capital investment opportunities and other strategic initiatives.
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure financial integrity.
Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and control measures.
The Head of Controlling will also be responsible for: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of business units.
Assure compliance with local, national and corporate tax policies.
Provide and prepare financial information to management for review and analysis of the business and for planning, budgeting, decision making and control.
Support decision making to improve all areas of the business including sales growth, product management, pricing, operations, overhead and working capital optimisation.
Perform industrial cost control and prudence activities and analyse the monthly performance of cost centres.
Develop and monitor KPIs and plans to achieve short- and long-term objectives.
Coordinate external and internal audit activities.
Participate in strategic projects, centrally defined projects and global solution implementation projects.
Manage and lead a financial team responsible for accounting and reporting.
Competenze ed esperienza Required skills and professional experience: The role is particularly suitable for a manager with at least 10 years of working experience within the Controlling & Reporting function of a multinational company.
Previous experience of at least 5 years in the role of Head Of Controlling or Senior Plant Controller in structured and modernly organised companies.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Team player - able to work with international and cross-functional teams to solve business problems.
Organisational awareness with experience of working in a matrix organisation.
Excellent ability to manage and lead a team.
