Ryanair are currently recruiting a Head of Communications to join Europe's largest airline group! This is an excellent role for an ambitious, driven and hardworking PR & Marketing professional to join Europe's busiest Sales, Marketing and Comms team. The successful candidate can be based in Italy, close to one of Ryanair's large operational bases and will work closely with our Senior Management and C-suite based in our Dublin HQ. This is a permanent position and key responsibilities will include supporting Ryanair in getting local connections and market intelligence, improving our brand and relationships with local key stakeholders including media, tourist boards, and airports. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver and manage Ryanair's integrated comms and marketing plan Italy, with ownership of comms plan for other additional markets across the network. - Build and maintain active relationship with local stakeholders including media, tourist boards and airports - Localize our corporate key messages and suggest local angles - Prepare press releases, media responses and presentations - Deliver and attend press conferences, speaking events and interviews - Work closely with our Italian press agency and our HQ press office to address daily media queries - Suggest strategic partnership and sponsorship opportunities - Drive demand, sales and improve brand perception and positioning in markets - Travel extensively across markets of responsibility - Build presence and connections locally Requirements - Fluency in both Italian and English is essential.
