Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health and promote life science research both nationally and internationally.
At the core of MIND is Human Technopole (HT), a life sciences research center founded in 2018 by the Italian Government.
HT focuses on uncovering life's fundamental mechanisms across biological scales.
In light of this significant project, HT is seeking a Head of Communications.
The candidate will lead a team of 6 people.
Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and executing a comprehensive communication strategy for both internal and external audiences, aligned with HT's objectives.Coordinating and engaging internal stakeholders, including the Director, President, Heads of Research Centers, and other key personnel.Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as research centers, pharmaceutical companies, and communication agencies.Leveraging available resources to ensure the effective delivery of communication initiatives.Ensuring consistent messaging and alignment across all communication activities to support HT's mission and goals.Essential RequirementsDegree in Communication, Marketing, Media, or equivalent work experience.At least 10 years of experience in communication roles at managerial and leadership levels.Fluency in English (C2 or equivalent).Fluency in Italian (C2 or equivalent).Proven experience in managing and defining communication strategies during crises.Knowledge of the news and media landscape, and expertise in content distribution across multiple media channels.Experience in designing and implementing communication plans for the scientific, research/academic, and healthcare sectors.Experience in marketing, engagement campaigns, and the use of AI and social media.Proven leadership, communication, team building, and problem-solving skills.Preferred RequirementsExperience in institutional relationship management.International work experience abroad and/or having led international teams and international communication campaigns.Other Key CompetenciesDemonstrated ability to handle complex and delicate communication issues.Ability to manage challenges and deadlines in a dynamic environment.Emotional intelligence, diplomacy, discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality.Application InstructionsTo apply, please send a CV and a motivation letter in English relating your track record to the specifics of the call.

Salary: €70,000 – €90,000 per annum
