A REGULAR DAY AT WORK
The Head of a Business Area (BA) is responsible and accountable for the full P&L and expansion strategy of the BA business.
She/he will manage the business end to end with a 360° approach, from product development to go to market: the full Customer Experience Offering (including product roadmap, product development and marketing), manufacturing, sales and customer care.
The role reports to the CEO of the Group and is part of Group Management, as such is expected to contribute significantly the identity, strategy and success of the BA and overall company.
As this organization is a new set up within the EPR Group, the first responsibilities will be to implement the new organizational design and operating model.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the EPR Food Business Area Europe, we are looking for the Head of Business Development.
Her/his mission will be to develop the business of Global Chain Accounts and European International Distributors for our food business in Europe leveraging specialty brands products portfolio, by creating an efficient sales distribution network, selecting distributors and importers, aimed at completing the current local Electrolux Professional network in the different European countries as well as hunting and developing the business with large accounts.
Your main responsibilities will revolve around 2 main pillars:
- International chain (or multi unit) customers
- International distributors
In details:
- International chain (or multi unit) customers
- Evaluating and developing new business models to further increase Food Sales in Europe
- Acting as the main point of contact between European chain central organizations and Global customers' teams.
- Developing a complete understanding of Global and European account needs, preparing customized solutions, if needed, addressing client issues and complaints.
- Anticipating Global and European account changes and improvements
- In coordination with similar positions in other BA, negotiating contracts with Global and European clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client's long-term goals
- Establishing and overseeing internal budgets and external budgets with the client
- Communicating and collaborating with local and Business Area marketing, sales, customer care and logistics departments to ensure that Global and European clients' needs are met generating profitable growth for Electrolux Professional
- Collaborating with local sales teams to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
- International distributors
- Developing sales of specialty brands products through importer/distributors in Europe in alternative to the main Electrolux Professional channel managed with local sales organizations.
- Managing the existing distributors of specialty brands products in order to increase their sales in Europe.
- Looking for new distributors / importers aimed at creating alternative channels to the traditional Electrolux Professional sales network, leveraging specialty brands products portfolio.
- Organizing and managing training, product demonstrations and sales campaigns within this dedicated channel.
