Job Description: Overall accountable of Quality performance in Airbus Italia Maintain and develop the Airbus Italia Quality Management System, in line with Airbus Italia objectives, regulatory requirements and Airbus DS Quality strategy.
As a member of the Airbus Italia management team, establish Quality as a competent and effective partner of projects and other functions in Airbus Italia and contribute to business success.
Ensure the Quality of delivered products and services to the confidence and satisfaction of the Customer.
Guarantee and take responsibility for all Quality activities (including configuration) during the entire product life cycle.
Foster and support risk identifications, and definition of preventive actions required to reduce risk exposures.
Ensure an independent voice of Quality internally and externally (with Customers).
Ensure deviations and customer complaints are recorded and properly managed, and track actions.
Identify areas and ideas for improvement through standardized interactions with value-adding functions in Airbus Italia, such as performance dialogue, monthly cost-of-non-quality analysis, lessons learnt, and internal audits.
Perform a continuous assessment of the Airbus Italia QMS, e.g., through internal audits.
Ensure suppliers/subcontractors are audited to ascertain compliance with applicable regulations.
Prepare and execute the annual management review in compliance with standards.
Active member of Space Products Quality Contribute actively to the identification of useful improvement actions in the frame of Airbus DS Quality strategy.
Assess the applicability and benefit of these improvement actions, and implement locally the outcomes of actions adding value for Airbus Italia.
Airbus Italia Quality team manager Develop the leadership of the Quality organization and maintain a highly competent, skilled, motivated, and committed Product Assurance, Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection, and Configuration teams.
Ensure team members are trained on quality-related matters, methodologies, methods, and tools.
Build a trustful and inclusive environment, promoting collaboration, facts-driven decisions, and an out-of-silos mindset.
Ensure quality deliverables are on quality, time, and cost to ensure Customer Satisfaction; escalate risks and opportunities.
Strongly support innovation and continuous improvement in Airbus Italia along the whole value chain.
Ensure that the needed resources are available and that an effective operational planning of employees is in place, according to the demands of the projects.
Very good Italian and English language skills are required to perform this position.
