The role will report directly to our Global CFO, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and complying with standards and regulations as well as managing a team, always with an eye to continuous improvement of existing internal processes.Your tasks and responsibilities: Oversee the accounting department and manage a team of accountants.Maintain the general ledger, ensuring account accuracy as well as month-end and year-end close processes.Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.Manage collections and ensure timely payment receipts.Ensure compliance with IFRS and other regulations.Manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including tax laws, and manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and banks.Oversee treasury daily operations.Manage cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and the development of financial models.Background and key competencies: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with previous experience in people management, preferably in a Global fast-paced organization.Knowledge of the fashion industry and retail would be considered as a plus.Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP or IFRS, and experience with financial reporting and compliance.Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERPs.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Hands-on approach, ability to think out of the box and an eye for process improvement.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Fluent in English and Italian.If this sounds like you and you would like to join a collaborative and challenging environment where working means loving what you do, going the extra mile, and learning from others, then please apply with a CV in English: we're looking forward to reviewing your application!Woolrich is an equal opportunity employer, we encourage people with a diverse range of backgrounds to apply.
