Our client is a leading player in the renewable energy industry in Italy and is now planning to expand its operations abroad.We are looking for a Head of Accounting, reporting directly to the CFO, to join our team and provide financial leadership and guidance to our organization.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, managing the financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the accounting department and manage a team of accountantsManage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, and ensure timely and accurate reportingDevelop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, including the implementation of new accounting standardsEnsure compliance with local laws and regulations, including tax laws, and manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory authoritiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and banksManage cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and the development of financial modelsMonitor and analyze financial performance, including the preparation of financial reports and the identification of trends and opportunities for improvementProvide financial leadership and guidance to the organization, including the identification of risks and opportunities, and the development of strategies to achieve financial goalsStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including 3+ years of experience in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS, and experience with financial reporting and complianceExperience in the renewable energy industry or a related field is preferredExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelNice to have:CPA or equivalent certificationExperience in the energy industryIf you're a motivated, results-driven individual with a robust financial background, we encourage you to apply.
