Head Of Accounting

The resource, reporting directly to the CFO, will have the following responsibilities: * Control and manage the accounting department leading a team of accountants * Direct the financial reporting process, financial reporting, and ensure timely and accurate reporting * Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures * Ensure that local laws and regulations are consistently complied with and coordinate relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities * Establish and maintain relationships with senior management, investors and banks * Oversee cash flow, carry out forecasting, budgeting activities and financial model development * Monitor financial performance, prepare financial reports and identify trends and opportunities for improvement * Amplify leadership and be a financial guide to ensure the organization and development of strategies aimed at achieving financial objectives * Maintain a constant update on industry trends and good practices to advise on optimizing processes and cost reduction initiatives * Degree in accounting or finance * At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including 3 years in a leadership role * Excellent knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS and experience in financial reporting and compliance * Experience in the renewable energy industry or a related field is considered a plus * Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills * Excellent analysis skills, including data analysis, and problem solving * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel * Excellent knowledge of English languages The company offers an advantageous remuneration package which includes a maximum fixed salary of €55,000 plus a variable bonus.
