As System Specialist you ensure well-functioning warehouse management system and overarching warehouse control system by supporting from a technology perspective in collaboration with your team.
Responsabilities: Ensure well-functioning WHM & overarching WH Control SystemSupport DC operationsMonitor system functionality and new system functionality developments, incl. interfaces WMS, WCS and PLCCommunicate change requests from end users to Regional Sales & OpsMaximize operational excellence, quality and efficiency by educating end users in the IT system functionalityDistribute & translate release notes and inform/ ensure training of users in the new functionality of a releaseEnsure all systems work as expected and are used correctly to aspire best service to the stores and to secure that business is not interruptedEnsure an effective and efficient incident management, when needed (e.g. participate in "bridge calls", Incident reporting)Ensure high quality level of all decided IT system related procedures and correct implementationEnsure training of end users (training conducted by Advanced Users, if exist) in the departments in new systems and functionalitiesAlign release waves and system down time with key stake holders, i.e. DC management, sales etc.
