Collaborate to setting up the collection and guarantee the correct product mix e related price positioning working with Product Development, Retail Merchandising, Regional Merchandising, Design and production.
Specific focus on retail
- oriented activities:
sales plan reviews, matrix assortment, skus efficiency, pre-buying assortment and master order definition.
Help in coordinating the alignment of all the categories in terms of activities and product development.

Key Accountabilities
- Supports the Director in liaising with Design team in the study of new collections, searching for new themes, materials, colors as part of the Brief and Guidelines
- Guarantees a detailed sales analysis for all types of products in relation to all the parameters useful for setting up the collection:
best-selling materials, models, colors, price ranges both in the Retail and Wholesale sectors, in order to support the Importante Azienda in all phases of setting up the collection;
- Supporting the development of training manuals and presentations with detailed product information on each collection for regional buyers
- Market and competitor's analysis in terms of product and pricing positioning in the different markets
- Support in the preparation of merchandising plans to define the new collections' structure and requests that will be discussed with the Design team
- Carries out price analyzes in order to identify the positioning of the product in relation to similar types of Competitors
- Participates in the definition of communication strategies, in order to fully integrate the spirit and positioning of the product in the drafting of the communication concept for all advertising campaigns;
- Participates in the presentation of the new collection projects to the Commercial Area Structures, providing the interpretative key and the spirit of the collection and indications on the marketability of products and related product categories
- Participation in the organization of the sales campaigns and production of all supporting materials and buying tools (such as:
control of product styles codes, photos and samples, catalogs and advertising, exit lists, product info and buying guidelines)
- Supporting the development of post-sales campaign reports (such as:
sell in by region/country and worldwide - by line, function, best sellers, etc.
)
Key Requirements
Functional
- At least 10 year of relevant experience as Merchandiser in the fashion/luxury goods industry
- Educational background preferably in business management or similar
- Strong product sensitivity
- Ability to adapt the communication Importante Azienda to different stakeholders
- Importante Azienda to exceed corporate goals, drive business results and go the extra mile in the daily work
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluency in Italian and English
