Working in the Corporate Health & Safety Department under the supervision of the H&S Manager, you will have to perform the role of Health and Safety Specialist for the Gucci Florence Corporate locations.
You will be responsible for documentation management and activities related to occupational health and safety in accordance with Italian health & safety law and the company procedures and regulations for the specific locations.
You will work with the other members of the Corporate Health & Safety Team and the external consultants, coordinating medium-complexity projects related to Gucci Florence Corporate locations working closely with the team members present on the other Italian locations.
Your main focus will be the management of Health&Safety activities related to interference risks.
Key Accountabilities Manage Health & Safety activities related to interference risks, including drafting and verifying DUVRI, confirming Technical-Professional Eligibility for contractors, validating POS, and conducting specific contractor training.
Analyze and oversee Health & Safety aspects of interventions, maintaining continuous communication with contractors and subcontractors for documentation verification.
Interface with Facility and Security departments for intervention management and contractor access.
Oversee construction activities for compliance with regulations outlined in "Titolo IV of D. Lgs.
81/08" and "Decreto Palchi - Decreto Interministeriale 22 July 2014."
Collaborate on health and safety risk assessments with team members and external consultants.
Support Health & Safety Manager and the team in managing permanent and temporary machinery and equipment, including documentation.
Assist in drafting machine risk assessments, researching and providing relevant PPE to workers.
Provide support in chemical risk management.
Assist in managing Health & Safety activities related to events and presence.
Support Health & Safety Manager and the team in health and safety management of Photostudio and similar locations, especially regarding photographers, talent, models, hair & makeup, etc., and their relationship with production companies.
Analyze incidents, near misses, and accidents, and implement improvement measures in support of the Health & Safety Manager.
Support in organizing training sessions, medical checks, examinations, and vaccination campaigns.
Monitor and supervise Health & Safety issues at specific locations.
Support in managing relations with Workers' Representatives for Safety to address reports related to H&S issues.
Assist the HR department in checking the requirements of potential candidates, such as health & safety training audits and job audits for the introduction of protected categories.
Conduct evacuation tests (fire, earthquake, and health emergency) at the specific locations, with external consultant support, in accordance with legal procedures.
Collaborate on ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SA 8000, and UNI Pdr 125 certifications with external Health & Safety inspectors and related audits in collaboration with the H&S Manager.
Support in managing H&S non-conformities and specific Health & Safety documentation for sites.
Collaborate in developing IT tools dedicated to managing Health & Safety processes for process optimization.
Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
Possibly serve as Prevention and Protection Officer for certain locations.
Key Requirements Three years minimum experience as an H&S Specialist, as a consultant, or internal.
Training as a Prevention and Protection Service Officer.
Degree in technical subjects is a plus(engineering/architecture or Prevention Science).
Good knowledge of Office suite.
Preferable knowledge of Autocad 2D.
Availability for frequent travelling in Italy.
Ability to relate directly with internal and external subjects of the organization (work teams, suppliers, consultants, etc.
); Problem solving skills with a focus on finding and proposing innovative solutions; The role will be interfaced with different figures inside and outside the company for which a wide flexibility and an always proactive approach is required; Knowledge of basic graphics tools can be a plus.
Flexibility to handle different requests in a short time.
