Role Mission
We are looking for a Back Office Assistant for our store. Through the passion for the brand and professionalism he/she will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing all aspects of the store's administrative, analytical and accounting activities.
He/she will act as a reference point for the store and the Finance office in terms of transactions' accuracy and discrepancies' checks. He/she will also facilitate procedures and communications between the store's Cash Team and the company's Finance and Accounting Offices.
Key Accountabilities Process and report the daily banking and cash closure from the previous business day to the store management team and Finance office Check and ensure transactions' accuracy Inform Finance/Accounting Teams on any discrepancy Take care of store deposits and reconciliations Update "end of day" reports and monthly reports, ensuring balance between "open" and "closed" clients Monitor and ensure the correct management of all store credits Supervise distant sales and guarantee the orders forms are correctly filled in. He/she also verifies that all the bank and personal details are correct, in order to avoid that payments get blocked Act as a reference point for any delivery and order issue: liaise with couriers, conduct investigations and ensure refunds when needed Being able to manage Daigou remotely Ensure all sales to buyers are included in the store Team Sales pool Be the store expert for Jasper and SAP systems for all accounting reports and activities Train Cashiers on national and local legislations and company's accounting/financial policies Prepare and update weekly/monthly sales staff KPIs reports Complete any other administrative tasks as required by the Store Management team Support the store management in planning the team rotation Collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders (Store Management, Corporate Offices, Providers, etc.) Key Requirements Highly committed to Gucci brand and strong motivation for a store-based role Strong attention to details Willing to work with people with patience, empathy and adaptability Team player and hard-working approach Excellent organization and communication skills Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset Good command of Microsoft Office package (knowledge of Jasper and SAP will be considered as a plus) Accounting educational background is preferred Fluent in Italian and English
