Job Description Hospitality Talents , a recruitment agency specialized in Hospitality profiles, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Groups & Events Coordinator to join the team of our client in Rome.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Journey Management: From the moment of contract, you'll be the key point of contact, ensuring a smooth and exceptional customer experience.
Site Inspections & Briefings: Conduct site inspections and communicate clearly with the sales team to ensure every detail is covered.
Seamless Event Handover: Work closely with the Re-Active Sales Team to ensure all event details are accurately handed over, creating a seamless experience for the customer.
Client Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and proactive communication throughout the event planning process.
Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure all agreed services are delivered, and exceed customer expectations whenever possible.
Event Planning Support: Assist clients with menu planning, food and beverage coordination, room set-ups, décor, entertainment, and more, working with external vendors as needed.
Contract Management: Confirm event details and negotiate pricing for food, beverages, and hotel services within the approved guidelines.
Event Execution: Ensure that all event logistics run smoothly from set-up to break-down, and that the client is delighted with every aspect of their event.
Revenue and Reporting: Help achieve revenue targets through upselling and efficient coordination, and handle administrative tasks such as forecasts and feedback collection.

Qualifications & Skills: Fluency in English & Italian is a must.
MICE Expertise: Strong understanding of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) environment.
Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple events, clients, and logistics efficiently.
What You Bring: Education & Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role at a property with substantial rooms and meeting spaces.
Team Player: You've demonstrated your ability to collaborate with colleagues and always put guests first.
Event Experience: You've handled everything from room blocks to VIP services, and are comfortable working with all event types.
