Groups And Events Executive

Armani Hotel Milan, a 5-star luxury hotel located in the heart of the famous Milan fashion district, is looking for an Events & Groups Executive to join our Sales & Marketing Department. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, we are seeking a candidate who has a passion for delivering great customer service and excellent communication skills.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Handling and executing Group bookings, soliciting business, upselling, and maximizing revenue.
Conducting site inspections with potential clients.
Checking on the status of group bookings and updating as appropriate.
Preparing monthly group summary reports on a daily basis.
Creating and distributing BEO and GRC to the departments involved.
Ensuring group history is kept up to date and tracing of group bookings is maintained.
Keeping the Director of Sales & Marketing promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
Customizing selling approaches and upselling to clients to maximize sales.
Working closely with the Sales team, Revenue, and Reservation Team.
Providing a defect-free and memorable experience for all clients; to be known as the preferred hotel.
Maintaining mutual understanding with all other hotel departments.
Keeping and maintaining the general filing systems as well as all other filings as designated.
Providing the highest standards of service without sacrificing quality.
Always maintaining a professional image both in appearance/attire and conduct when dealing with clients and hotel ambassadors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous experience in a similar role, at least 1 year, in the hospitality business.
Fluency in Italian and English. Preferred knowledge of a third language.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer orientation.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
