GROUP MARKETING COMMUNICATION DIRECTOR The Manager, reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with the Heads of Division, Strategic Sales and HR, will be responsible for communicating the distinctiveness of each division by uncovering customer insights, delivering innovative marketing campaigns, and improving the customer experience.
He/she will ensure the achievement of the company's global revenue and margin targets by defining marketing and communication strategies/policies.
Additionally, he/she will support the Board and the Leadership Team in upholding and supporting the sales of the company's products and creating competitive advantages for the company in the reference market.
The role's responsibilities include generating unique marketing plans, developing pricing strategies, and meeting marketing objectives.
He/She represents the company's brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by monitoring the market, competitors, and industry trends.
Responsibilities Manage a team of marketing & communication professionals working on brand & communication initiatives.Prepare annual marketing budget plans, schedule expenditures, and ensure that the marketing team meets their quotas and goals.Help develop new products and services using market research.Develop the marketing plan in line with product positioning.Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understanding customer requirements, identifying market trends, and determining system improvements to achieve marketing goals.Identify new business opportunities among current and prospective customers as well as clear strategies to convert them into orders, according to the sales team.Define marketing strategies and implement effective marketing actions to develop initiatives that can generate consistent year-over-year revenue increase in alignment with global strategy.Govern external communication relations with all media including the press office.Analyze brand positioning and customer insights and define improvement strategies and timelines.Translate brand elements into plans and customized go-to-market strategies.Coordinate the information flow around sales activities and provide market intelligence to the business in order to ensure the achievement of sales targets.Align the company around the brand's direction, choices, and tactics.Collaborate with HR to design and communicate a people and employer branding strategy at corporate, division, and country levels.Communicate our vision, mission, and corporate values.Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to "take action."Establish performance specifications, market applications, and collaborate with Business Development and strategic sales regarding sales estimates and cost/price parameters.Design innovative growth strategies in collaboration with Business Development.Measure and report the performance of all marketing campaigns and assess ROI and KPIs.Monitor market trends, research markets and segments, as well as competitors' activities.Introduce and oversee new and ongoing marketing and promotion activities.Monitor new product introductions and customer reactions.Monitor CRM & Sales performance.Supervise content management dedicated to marketing campaigns.Lead generation management.Requirements and skills Proven working experience as Brand & Communication Manager in large international industrial corporations.Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns.Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind and data-driven thinking.Team player with outstanding communication and listening skills.Autonomy and stress tolerance.Listening and negotiation skills and strategic thinking.Continuous learning and initiative.Accountability and decision-making.Pragmatic and oriented to prioritization and results achievement.Excellent digital skills.Up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices.Degree in marketing or a related field.Mother tongue Italian speaker or C2 Level.Mother tongue English speaker or C2 Level.Preferable good understanding of German B2 level.Location: Headquarters – UMBRIA
Gross Annual Salary: 110 – 130k€ / MBO (20 – 30%) / LTI / benefits
