All about the role:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Core Technology Engineer specializing in Enameling to join our ME Technology and Architecture team within the Taste Product Line.This role will contribute to the development of advanced enameling processes, ensuring high-quality product finishing, and contributing to product innovation.As part of a Group level team, this position offers the candidate the opportunity to interact with engineering teams located globally across our Food Preparation factories.In detail, you will:Develop global specifications for powder enamel equipment and processes according to the Technology Roadmap.Process Development: Design, develop, and optimize enameling processes for appliances manufacturing, focusing on safety, quality, cost and sustainability.Technology innovation: Investigate cutting edge technologies in all areas of enameling, including state-of-the-art decarbonization solutions for gas-fueled processes.Material Selection: Collaborate with R&D to identify and select enameling materials that meet product specifications and performance requirements.Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams, troubleshooting enameling process issues, and implementing solutions.Global Collaboration: Facilitate technology and information sharing with global SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) in enameling, ensuring best practices and innovations are integrated across the organization.Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve enameling technology, processes and equipment, driving innovation, digitalization and cost reduction.Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of processes, changes, and innovations, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.Who you are:Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in enameling, coatings, or related manufacturing processes.Required: Strong understanding of Manufacturing Processes.
Preferred: Comprehensive understanding of enamel chemistry, application techniques, and finishing processes.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in technical documentation and data analysis tools.Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
