Role and responsibilities The individual will work within the Administration and Accounting Unit and will be responsible for the administrative and financial management of projects.
Specifically, she/he will need to: Coordinate the collection of documentation for financial reports for national and international projects (compiling timesheets, financial statements, expense reporting, etc.
), following the guidelines provided by the donors/funding sources (LIFE, INTERREG, PSR, FESR, FSE, Erasmus+, Horizon, etc.).
Prepare the verification and preparation of official project reports.
Assist the project writing team in drafting project budgets.
Support the preparation of amendment procedures and project variations.
Create expenditure forecasts for managing budgets, even in the long term.
Participate in project meetings, preparing PowerPoint presentations on financial management when necessary.
Establish a monitoring and control system for expenditure for the partnership when necessary.
Interface with the donor, partners, and the project leader.
Ensure the correct and transparent administrative/accounting management of projects.
Support the administrative team in ensuring a proper reconciliation between project accounting and general accounting.
Education A specific degree in a particular field is not required, but degrees in the following areas will be positively evaluated: Law Political Science Development Cooperation Economics and Administration Training programs in the following areas will also be viewed favorably: European project design Project Management Financial reporting Experience Having at least three years of experience in one or more of the following roles: Reporting on LIFE, INTERREG, PSR, FESR, FSE, Erasmus+, Horizon projects Work experience, research, and/or volunteering in the environmental and/or social field, particularly in the areas of interest of the company Required skills Fluent Italian and excellent written and spoken English Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel and Cloud technologies Strong personal and professional interest in the environmental issues addressed by the company Knowledge of European funding programs and European policies Knowledge of Italian and European institutions Understanding of the project cycle Basic knowledge of general accounting Basic knowledge of company financial statements Strategic long-term vision Ability to work under pressure Organizational skills and respect for deadlines What We Offer The Etifor team will support your growth within the company in an international and friendly corporate environment.
