After the extensive onboarding, you'll take on your own team and ensure our customers receive their orders on time and in good quality. You will also be supported in developing people management skills with your leading team, managers, and other stakeholders. In this position, you'll be an important part of our global company, working hand-in-hand with your local team members at a logistics site. You'll also collaborate across sites on topics like workplace safety, process optimization, sustainability, and technological progress.
Key Job Responsibilities:Leading and training a team (up to 100 employees)Planning and controlling internal processesDeriving recommendations for action and specific measures for process improvement based on metrics such as workplace safety, productivity, and qualityCollaborating with on-site upstream and downstream departmentsParticipating in overarching projects to optimize customer satisfactionEffective resource and workflow managementEnsuring compliance with occupational safety regulations and environmental protectionA Day in the Life:You'll work in one of our shifts (early, late, or night). Ensuring safety standards at your entire site is your top priority. As a shift manager, you'll routinely conduct team meetings and provide feedback to your employees and stakeholders. Using data analysis, you'll influence the productivity and quality of your site. As an important local team member, you'll collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure we meet our customers' requirements and our own standards. By analyzing data with leaders and discussing the operational benefits and drawbacks of technical improvements with subject matter experts.
