Job DescriptionReady to work on what matters to you?Maybe it's developing new skills, making friends or creating something tangible?It might be working with big name customers, contributing to society or making a difference in a sustainable industry?Whatever it is, you can do it here at O-I.With us, you will be part of producing, branding and selling pure, healthy and infinitely recyclable glass – part of creating a better, more exciting future for yourself, our business and our planet!We have created a best-in-class 18 months engineering program designed as a deep dive into the glass industry: during our Graduate Program you will learn everything about our processes, technologies and roles.It will be a very practical experience: you will work and study in our plants, shoulder to shoulder with our best managers and glassmakers, experiencing first-hand the glass manufacturing activitiesDuring this experience you will be assigned to our Bari plant, but you will work with Graduate Engineers coming from all over Europe.During our Graduate Program you will be presented with challenging and diverse opportunities while being supported through a structured learning and development program, with access to a variety of on-the-job activities, networking and social activities.For 5 months you will be also part of an international group working on rotation in some of the best O-I plants in EuropeAt the end of our Graduate Program you will have developed an in-depth knowledge of our industry and our processes: you will be assigned to one of our Italian plants as a Production Engineer - you will become the leader of a glass production line, an engineer in the mould or maintenance shops, or work as a furnace engineerQualificationsYou have a Master Degree in mechanical, industrial or chemical engineering completed with honours in 2024Your CEFR level for both Italian and English is at least B2You are passionate about manufacturing processes and activities, and you are willing to work in the heat and noise of our factories shop floors as a manufacturing engineerYou have a valid work permit for ItalyAdditional InformationYour career in O-I will start in October/November 2024You will be hired with a permanent, full-time contractYour base salary will be between 30.000 and 32.000€ (gross annual salary).During the Graduate Program you will be working and studying in our plants; remote working will not be possibleIf you are smart, passionate, innovative, culturally open, curious and collaborative, we'd like to hear from you.O-I is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that attracts and embraces the brightest minds and creates a culture that welcomes a diversity of ideas and perspectives while encouraging growth and rewarding performance
