About the Role The Certified Google Cloud Professional Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and managing robust, secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architecture solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
This role involves understanding business requirements, designing cloud infrastructure, and guiding teams through the implementation of these solutions while ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company objectives.
Responsibilities Cloud Architecture Design: Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop a comprehensive architectural approach that integrates with existing systems and meets business needs. Implementation and Deployment: Lead the deployment of cloud solutions ensuring adherence to architecture standards and best practices. Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams during the implementation phase. Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements. Develop cloud adoption strategies, roadmaps, and best practices to ensure optimal use of GCP services. Optimization and Management: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and security. Implement automation for scaling and managing cloud resources efficiently. Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions comply with security policies, standards, and regulations. Implement security best practices including data encryption, identity and access management, and network security. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architecture design decisions and operational procedures. Provide regular reports on cloud infrastructure performance, costs, and security status. Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on GCP technologies and best practices. Stay updated with the latest GCP developments and industry trends and share knowledge with the team. Requirements Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is required (Must). Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture with at least 2 years focused on GCP. B2 / C2 English Proficiency Level. Proven experience in designing and deploying scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions. Proficiency in GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine, and IAM. Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC, subnets, firewalls, and load balancers. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead technical projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multicloud environments. Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization techniques. Must qualification is a GCP professional certification (Architect, Network, or Security). Security and Cybersecurity frameworks.
