For this position, we can offer visa sponsorship if you are willing to relocate to The Netherlands.
We do not provide a relocation package.The role may also be filled in the USA, UK or anywhere in Europe, however, for a visa-sponsorship we would relocate you to The Netherlands, as this is where our European HQ is located.

What you will be doing
In this global role as Global Senior SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect, you have a pivotal role in our IT Applications organization around the globe.
You are responsible for leading the IT Supply Chain Solution Architecture for several of our strategic initiatives.
One of those is the Global Salesforce implementation, and several other supply chain related optimization projects.
Think of Inventory Optimization, Manufacturing Optimization, Demand & Supply Planning Optimization, S&OP Optimization and more.
We are working hard on bringing our organization to the next level, and thats where you come in.
In this role, you will both work on a highly strategic level, as well as on a more tactical/hands-on level to achieve the results that we together have envisioned.
And youre the one responsible for the high level design and influencing stakeholders in the global organization.
With this new role you will not only have a massive impact on our organization but also by improving us to get better, you will also be helping our clients.
You will be the one bringing our Supply Chain systems to a higher level by driving new and improved technology capabilities for our business functions, business partners and customers.
You are realizing the high-level design across systems and will be managing stakeholders on all levels in the organization, including C-level colleagues.
You will be responsible for anything from troubleshooting, problem solving, issue resolution and user interaction to gathering requirements, defining systems scope, and documenting design.
Also defining functional specifications, doing research, and coordination the innovation process belongs to your set of responsibilities.
No day will be the same, and we guarantee you will not get bored easily.We challenge you to learn new business processes, assess gaps between those processes and business initiatives, and of course design a way on how to improve the processes here and make sure it is smoothly implemented.
That could also mean that not always but as part of your role that you will be working on configuration, testing, reporting, cut over plans and other project-related deliverables.
Eventually, that great customer experience is what we are doing it for.In the end it is a highly strategic role, but you will also be involved in the hands-on delivery of innovations and of course you are working with a global team of talented people that are also involved in getting towards to envisioned outcome.
After designing a new process in our SAP Supply Chain systems, you are also the one that will coordinate the adoption of new ways of working.

You will be working on developing documentation and training material, executing training (or train-the-trainer sessions), and building communication plans to ensure a smooth implementation.

In addition to being the smart individual with strong communication and influencing skills, you are also a very skilled stakeholder manager.
In your previous work experience, for example as a senior SAP Supply Chain Managing Consultant or leading SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect, this was a major part of your responsibilities.
In the past 10+ years you have been involved in Supply Chain/Salesforce consulting (internally or externally) and hence, have built up quite some expertise.
You have been managing and leading a global team from a project/matrix perspective.
This means the ability to motivate, inspire and engage people is a crucial one.
You know how to get noses in the same direction, how to bring a message across and also easily find your way in adapting your approach depending on the person that you are dealing with.
Leading global innovation and optimization projects is what you love to do most.
Years of experience bring you lots of expertise.
That understanding of designing a system that works, of understanding the interdependencies between systems and modules and being able to define a working strategy, that is exactly what you do.
Some practicalities:
A bachelors degree (or equivalent) in information systems, computer science, engineering or a related field is preferred.
You have prior experience in managing and leading a global team from a matrix perspective.
You have at least 10-12 years experience in a Supply Chain consulting environment and 8 years of business/technical experience utilizing SAP MM and SAP PP modules.
You are eligible to live and work anywhere in Europe, the UK, or the USA.
In case you are willing to relocate to The Netherlands (European Headquarter), we can sponsor the visa but we do not offer a relocation package.Preferred location is The Netherlands or Europe due to time zone differences and working in a global team.
You are fluent in English, as this is the main language used in this position.
You are flexible to travel domestic and international approximately 25% of your time.
You have prior technical experience utilizing SAP MM & PP modules, and also have implemented several or all of the following functions in your roles:
Material Master, Direct & Indirect Purchasing, Logistics Execution, WHM & EWHM, Demand Management, Production Planning & Execution and Detailed Scheduling.

If you additionally have experience with other modules, such as SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Customer Service (CS), Sales & Distribution (SD) FI/CO, BW or APO the more points you score.
If you then also have experience designing end to end solutions within the ECC landscape as well as solutions involving complex integrations with external systems and/or business partners you will blow our minds.
Exposure to large
- and small-scale mergers, acquisitions or divestiture works are also a plus.
