Janssen is recruiting for a **Global Scientific Advisor - Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (CPP)**, with a **_flexible location or remote possibility_**.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Represent CPP at QSTEPS, CPP reviews, and other governance/review committees, as required.
- Manage team providing MBMA support across portfolio, which may include consultants within CPP.
- Work with CPP colleagues across TA and regions, cross-functionally with other functions in Janssen, and/or externally, as needed, to identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement innovative scientific approaches for CPP colleagues to broaden the understanding of and impact on drug development for small and large molecules.
- Together with the Clinical Pharmacology Therapeutic Area Group Heads, act as a cross-functional liaison to gain scientific alignment on Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics-related strategies and to identify appropriate scientific training of CPP and other colleagues.
- Responsible for coordination of Scientific Advisory Meetings designed to discuss scientific issues, projects, and novel cross-functional development strategies or methodologies.
- Provide scientific advice related to the MIDD approaches including translational pharmacology approaches for compounds in development and to Clinical Pharmacology development plans.
- Provide advice and support to CP and Cross Functional Management (e.g., mock advisory) on scientific and regulatory issues as needed
- Lead/assist with implementation of new methodologies and/or new focus areas for CPP.
- Train, guide and mentor scientists within the global CPP/QS organization to realize their full potential
- Provide feedback, strategic input or support for due diligence; Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics reviews; Represent CPP at QS and other governance meetings, as needed.

**Education**:
- Ph.D. or equivalent, with at least 12+ years of industrial experience
**Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of drug development of small & large molecules, biopharmaceutics, modeling, physiology and pharmacology, advanced pharmacokinetics, clinical trial design
- Experience in drug research on novel compounds and development in diverse therapeutic areas and treatment modalities
- Experience in interaction with Regulatory Authorities in EU and US
- Experience with the life cycle management of established drug products
- Knowledge of other drug development disciplines

- Estimated travel of about 5% - 15% of time
