If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!As the Global Safety Health Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of Franke's Safety Health (SH) strategic program.
Your focus will be on the further development and execution of the Safety Maturity Assessment protocol, along with creating impactful train-the-trainer materials.
You will be instrumental in shaping Safety Health concepts, including Safety Leadership, Risk Assessment, Machine Safety, Life Safety Principles (LOTOTO, Internal Transport, …), Safety Observation Talks, Incident Reporting Investigation, and Risk Management/Loss Prevention.Your tasksSupport and execute the global safety and health strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.Promote and be the guardian of a Safety-first Culture: coach and lead the local organization towards a level 4/5 (interdepend) Maturity culture.Coordinate and lead the Safety Maturity Assessment program.
Monitor and support the implementation of the agreed improvement plans at BU and location level.Stay abreast of local, regional, and international safety regulations and ensure the company's compliance.Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific safety standards for PPE, machine safety, contractor management.Ensure SHE aspects are incorporated in the (management of change) projects from design towards handover and maintenance of installations.Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigating risks.Implement proactive measures to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses.Develop train-the-trainer safety programs for topics like Onboarding, Safety observations, LOTOTO, Internal transport, Permit to Work/LMRA, Working at heights and more.Lead investigations of reported accidents and near misses, providing thorough analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.Establish and maintain an incident reporting system to track trends and develop operational preventative programs and measures.Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and health performance.Maintain and analyze Safety KPI to identify areas for improvement and implement preventative/corrective actions.RequirementsStrong knowledge and experience in safety maturity culture concepts like Hearts and Minds, Dupont Bradley curve: its dimensions, and maturity levels, being able to demonstrate ability / capacity to develop all necessary measures to evolve the safety maturity culture of a company.Min of 10 years' experience of managing safety and health in an industrial manufacturing plant with SHE responsibility-accountability-authority.Team-player and Safety first leading by example spirit, not afraid to give (constructive) feedback to all levels of the organization.Ability to prioritize, work to tight deadlines, both prescribed and self – imposed.Able to demonstrate a continuous improvement mind set in the workplace.Initiating, recommending, actionable and carrying out problem-solving actions.MS Office advanced user.Experience Integrated Multi Site Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 ISO 45001).Education and experience in Loss Prevention and Fire Safety is a plus.Mobility: min 40%.
