General Description of the Role The global Project Manager supports the execution of global packaging changes impacting multiple products and Brands, being sourced from multiple Supply Chain Regions.
The program approved by Campari Group Officers is aimed to display QR codes on the physical labels of all brands to provide voluntary information to Consumers in the digital space.
Mission/Objectives
The role will be focused on the execution of the mentioned global program in close collaboration with Global Strategic Marketing, all Supply Chain functions and Legal/ Public Affairs, Regulatory, and all the stakeholders involved in the process.
She/he will be the global single point of contact for all Campari Brands, responsible for planning the various changes in all involved sourcing SC, engaging and managing the project Team to ensure the implementation within agreed quality, cost and time.
Key Responsibilities and Activities Project Management
Manage global product change projects as agreed with Global Product Lifecycle Management and Global Quality Director:
Facilitates Idea/ brief definition, proactively challenging Public Affairs, Legal, to include as many upcoming Legal/ Regulatory changes as possible, assessing SC impacts and risks and costs Defines project team and masterplan: identify required resources, draft project risk assessment and related mitigation plan, define project timeline and constantly monitor it in coordination with Business Leader and key stakeholders. Works with Pre-Press agency and printing suppliers to request needed art updates and verify they are done correctly while guaranteeing the company "Artwork Approval Process" and timeline is firmly respected. Reviews of art files, ensuring legal and functional compliance, and manages the approval flow of that art from all the responsible stakeholders. Develops final art specification and manages the artwork database. Coordinates project execution: check the timely execution of project activities, managing performance gaps and ensuring a prompt escalation of issues when needed, according to innovation process governance. In particular: oCoordinate with packaging Team for all packaging development activities, ensuring final artwork is approved by relevant Functions.
oBrief master data Team on the Project, ensuring that new codes creation is timely scheduled and executed.
oCoordinate with Procurement to ensure Suppliers involvement and cost estimation.
oEnsure no impact on Capex is required and escalate if risks arise
oCoordinate with Planning to define production plans (including Phase in Phase Out plan) and write-off estimation.
oCoordinate with SC Finance to prepare COGS estimation.
oCoordinate with other Functions if specifically required by project plan.
oRequest creation of and manage approvals for new or revised SKUs and BOMs.
oEnter specifications and upload new artworks of created components into the artwork database to allow for sharing with all Camparistas.
oPrepare domestic and/or international sample shipments for projects as needed.
Develop and maintain project timeline, keep Team Members updated throughout the process. Coordinate all the project activities through cross-functional communication, meetings and knowledge sharing. Ensures constant alignment with key stakeholders on project status and risks, closely monitoring the launch timing aiming to minimize write off costs Constantly updates project status and tracking in the system Project closing: ensure that all SKUs in scope have been created and forecasted by markets, first productions are successfully completed, and all activities are handed over to Supply Chain functions. Key Relationships Internal: All Functions involved in the product change management (e.g. Legal/ Public Affairs, Global Strategic Marketing, Artwork coordinators, Supply Planning, SC and GSM FP&A, Procurement, Global PLM, …).
External: Suppliers involved in product change Process (e.g. co-packers, label Suppliers, creative agencies, SGK prepress agency)
Functional capabilities Min 4 years' experience of project management Demonstrated capability in working within different businesses and diverse cultures Financially literate Passionate about consumers and products, understanding Customers need Leadership Capabilities: Effective communication and influencing skills. Team player, result driven, assertive and culturally sensitive. Good Stakeholders management skills. Deep personal accountability for great performance. Educational and other requirements: Bachelor/ master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management. Project Management certifications. Fluency in English. Expert user of MS Office tools (Excel, Project and PowerPoint). SAP experience is highly desirable.
