The Global Supply Chain & Logistics Procurement Director position is a critical leadership role leading EthosEnergy's global procurement organization and a key contributor to the overall organizational success by ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods and services, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction, overall business performance and best value goods and services.
EthosEnergy manages upward of $400 million per year globally with its suppliers in various direct and indirect categories of its global business, supporting services, repairs, and refurbishment of gas, steam, generator, field services, and other ancillary power generation equipment. This position can be based from either Houston, TX / Aberdeen, UK / Torino, Italy.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain integrated and comprehensive procurement and supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce cost and enhance overall performance. Oversee supply chain policy and compliance, procurement processes, supplier management. Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain and strategic procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and align supply chain initiatives with overall business objectives. Identify and track key performance indicators across the global supply chain and procurement processes and function. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to address challenges and opportunities proactively. Lead complex contract negotiations and manage contractual agreements to ensure the appropriate quality products and services at the best value. Develop and execute the global sourcing strategy for direct and indirect procurement that supports the business goals and objectives. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and issues, price fluctuations, new suppliers, cost savings opportunities, and supplier innovation. Proactively mine supply base for value-added ideas and new business opportunities, and effectively communicate these ideas across the global matrix. Drive operational/transactional procurement efficiency while leveraging strategic category sourcing strategies where applicable. Work with technical teams to establish & drive standards for supplier approval and product qualification (in collaboration with engineering and quality); maintaining an Approved Supplier List (ASL) of critical sources for all regions. Work cross-functionally to support the Supplier Quality's Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) process along with any supplier warranty or non-conformance disputes to resolution. Ensure the on-time arrival of customer deliveries as well as purchased parts to EthosEnergy's locations. Work with business leaders to establish demand planning, warehousing and inventory management strategies, and operational metrics to ensure compliance and process optimization in these activities. Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and data governance with the assistance of IT. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other partners to ensure a reliable and resilient supply chain network. Maintain and enhance the 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) program to ensure optimal promised OTD of materials & major critical equipment and continuous shipping lane analysis. Required Skills / Knowledge:

Proven experience (12+ years) in a supply chain and logistics leadership role. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. In-depth knowledge of demand planning, category management, strategic sourcing procurement, supplier relationship management, inventory management, and warehousing processes.
