Job Summary This role is ideal for motor specialists with high-level skills in coil manufacturing and rewinding, and a background in working with original equipment manufacturing facilities. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our company's rotating and stationary equipment.
Responsibilities: Provide consultation on normal and emergency plant maintenance procedures and standards. Offer technical support to electrical maintenance and machine shop operations. Perform stator rewinds, testing, and vibration analysis for high-voltage electric motors. Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electric motors and generators. Troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment focusing on cost reductions and process improvements. Introduce the latest technology in repair methodology. Design engineering packages for electrical equipment. Coach and share knowledge with junior engineers. Participate in vendor/customer exchange meetings. Engage in standards value engineering and assist in Corrective & Preventative Action resolution. Participate in internal or customer equipment drawing reviews. Provide specialized engineering assistance to repair units. Requirements: This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Abqaiq and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of nine years of hands-on experience in the electrical field as described. Experience with electrical equipment applications in refining, petrochemical, and gas processing industries. Experience in manufacturing with original high-voltage electric motor equipment manufacturing facilities such as ABB, Siemens, WEG, Alstom, and Westinghouse. Excellent command of English in both reading and writing.
