Job Summary We are seeking an instructional designer for This Company Business School with industry experience in the design and development of engaging, innovative, performance-based, instructor-led learning training.
Although courses at ABS are primarily instructor-led, the integration of learning technology and digital content is critical.
At the ABS, design and development projects are usually team-based with instructional designers partnering with subject-matter experts (SMEs), technical writers, and graphic artists in the design and development of the learning experiences.
In these projects, the instructional designer is expected to perform three major functions: project management, instructional design, and content development.
Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple instructional design and development projects on a daily basis, overseeing timelines, schedules, work scope, and deliverables. Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective training courses for ILT, VILT, and eLearning formats. Design and develop assessment tools for Kirkpatrick Level 2 and Level 3 evaluations. Create written training materials and content for ILT, VILT, and eLearning platforms. Analyze existing course designs and instructional materials, making improvements as needed to enhance effectiveness. Requirements: Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Hold a Master's degree in Instructional Design or a related field. Possess over 10 years of experience designing performance-based, technical training programs for professionals. Skilled in managing L&D projects effectively. Capable of collaborating closely with subject-matter experts (SMEs) throughout the design process, managing their deliverables, and influencing without direct authority. Ability to comprehend, simplify, organize, and present complex information quickly. Experienced in developing learning assessments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong writing and editing abilities.
