- The **Global Media Manager** will elevate and advance Integrated Media Communication across markets by providing direction to deliver tangible growth for our business in line with company's market and financial objectives.
In this position, the Media Manager will work with our global and local brand management, insights, digital medicine and media procurement teams as well as media agencies and partners to create guidelines based on latest consumer behaviors, measures, research, and media habits. The Global Media Manager will leverage media intelligence and best practices that supports our media transformation agenda and accelerates brand growth.
Detailed responsibilities are:
Global scope (70% of time):
- Lead and manage the development of integrated media guidelines for our global brands across all media channels, determining role of channels and media mix to best fit brand strategy
- Manage dissemination and adoption of integrated media guidelines, through training and support to local teams
- Collaboration with Global Media Agency to establish ways of working in terms of planning, monitoring and drive recommendation
- Closely partner with Global digital partners to ensure digital campaigns are successfully translated from planning to execution, alongside our Digital Medicine team
- Define the minimum set of tools, data, market and a consumer trends for every country to own for effective planning and monitoring
- Manage dissemination and adoption in each country, depending on their level of media maturity
- Present innovative ideas about campaigns' strategies and effective ways to reach the identified target audience, accelerating business performance, and stay ahead of the competition by analyzing, keeping pace and in touch with industry trends
- Collaborate with global brand management teams to collect information from countries, draw insights and input into media planning and asset execution
Local scope (30% of time):
- Act as a point of reference for local teams while developing media strategy and planning across all media channels including TV, digital, print, OOH, etc. Support markets to determine role of channels and media mix to maximise performance and comply with profitability objectives
- Support markets to establish effective ways of working with local media agencies as well as measuring to tracking results
- Accelerate media innovation through emerging global initiatives with an agile, test, and scale-up approach
**Requirements**:
- University Degree
- Fluent English
- 10+ years of experience managing / working on large global media budgets either at another advertiser or within media agency. FMCG background is a plus
- Good grasp of fundamentals of marketing - experience as a marketer desired
- Strong understanding of the Media Communication landscape, with experience across all media disciplines
- Strong understanding of measurement solutions and methodologies to calculate media efficiency and effectiveness (MMM, BHT, SOV etc.)
- Ability to inspire and support teams to deliver organization and operational change
- Ability to manage multi-market and stakeholder workshops
- Work well in a team - strong ability to connect and influence cross functionally across varying levels of seniority
