Our client, a leading company operating in the food industry, is currently looking for a:
Global Marketing Manager Scope of the role The resource will be responsible for Marketing activities at a Global Level to support the Sales Team in identifying new Business opportunities and growth sales.
The position will report to the Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities: Work with the Product Management team and the Sales Team to create and launch marketing strategies for existing clients and potential new clients Develop and implement clients' annual marketing plansReview Data to develop strategic Business Plan to identify new Business Opportunities Understand clients' needs and provide customized solutions Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer baseConduct market research to identify potential customers and market trendsMonitor competitor activities and market conditions to adjust strategies accordinglyRegular interaction with the HQ strategy planning team to align on calendars and actionsDevelop "Key" country-specific plans to materialize strategy and growth objectivesAssess the regional operational and strategic performanceSet direction for research and data analysis to inform business decisions.Define and implement the appropriate governance across different markets and functions to monitor work progress, implement corrective actions as and where needed, and deploy strategic initiatives. Bachelor's degree in economics, marketing or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.At least 5 years of experience in marketing and/or strategic business development roles within the Food Ingredients industry or the Food oneSolid background in Marketing, Sales and/or Strategy in a B2B environmentStrong presentation and negotiation skillsBusiness acumen International mindset and availability to travel frequently Passion, flexibility and goal orientationEnglish and Italian fluent Work location: Bergamo (Hybrid) initially, you will be required to work at the office for at least three days a week to become familiar with the product portfolio.The role will also involve frequent global business trips, which will be agreed upon and planned in coordination with the Sales Director.
