In fact, we are a global family made up of different cultures, different genders, generations, ethnicities, abilities, sexual identities and many other enriching diversities.Air and Care FranchiseWithin the three Business Units, Air and Care Franchises are responsible for the development and implementation of the Therapeutic Area Strategies.Who we are looking forWithin the Global Business Excellence & Customer Experience Unit, the Global Forecasting Senior Analyst will report to the Head of Global Business Intelligence and will be responsible for Patient and Volume forecasting and related Insight-Generation to support the decision-making processes on Chiesi brands and markets.Main ResponsibilitiesPatient Forecasting: develop and maintain accurate patient forecasts based on market trends, epidemiological data, and treatment patternsVolume Forecasting: generate volume forecasts to inform supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial strategies.
Utilize historical data and market analysis to predict future demand accuratelyData Analysis: analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform forecasting models.
Use statistical and predictive modeling techniques to enhance forecast accuracyCross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, affiliates and finance teams to ensure alignment of forecasts with business objectives and market realitiesReporting: prepare and present forecast reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights to support and inform internal processes (e.g.
Target Setting)Continuous Improvement: continuously refine forecasting methodologies and models based on feedback and emerging best practicesKey projects / internal processes the resource will be supporting:Market Models development, roll out, update and global consolidationTarget Setting: short term forecast of sales, market, market shareLong Range Planning: long term forecast of sales, market, market shareEducationBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.Experience RequiredPrevious experience in forecasting within the pharmaceutical industry or in consultingDemonstrated experience in both patient and volume forecastingProven track record of using data-driven insights to influence business decisionsSoft SkillsProven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationshipsStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and finding solutionsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy in forecasting and reportingAbility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs, continuously updating forecasting models accordinglyExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesTechnical SkillsStrong ability to analyse large datasets, interpret complex data, and derive meaningful insights.Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python) and forecasting tools.
Advanced Excel skills are requiredIn-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and patient treatment pathwaysExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
