Reporting directly to the Head of Global Facility & HSE, the position is responsible for developing and implementing workplace, real estate and programs for all our locations abroad.
Key responsibilities include lease management, leadership of facilities, oversight of construction activities, planning and direction of maintenance and site services as well as leadership, management and coordination of international real estate property acquisition and disposal activities composed of multiple projects in various stages of planning, investigation, negotiation, execution through implementation.
Develop business justification and recommendations for presentation and approval and coordinate with facility maintenance program and services for all the sites.
Job Duties:
- Manage the facility activities in all our locations abroad (Europe, Americas, APAC) providing oversight and direction to facility operations and maintenance activities, ensuring that facilities meet government regulations, supervise health, safety & environment projects and activities
- Manage vendor selection, negotiations, and manages contractual relationships for workplace support services related to capex and extraordinary maintenance activities
- Manage the lease contracts for offices in each geography and ensure leased space is optimized in terms of allocation, utility, business needs, and flexibility
- Manage current real estate assets by taking a proactive approach by anticipating lease renewals and terminations and all critical dates, advise executive management on workplace strategic programs impacting space use and allocation, develop and implement space allocation programs
- Provide oversight to programming, design, construction, outfitting and occupation of new and remodeled premises; lead corporate real estate activities including broker and vendor selection, site search, leasing activities, and decision support financial/cost analysis
- Define, in collaboration with Plant Managers, and validate the budget and forecast for all the investments needed for workplace services, real estate, extraordinary maintenance, and other project activities assigned to this position.
Monitor economic performance, assessing costs and address variances from budget ensuring cost-effectiveness/capex respect, on a quarter base
- Coordinate and supervise health and safety activities relying on local HSE references and Committees, attending the meetings and monitoring the execution of actions of the plans locally defined according to the local legislations
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Management or related qualification)
- 7-10 years of experience in facilities management and corporate real estate
- Detailed knowledge of facilities management best practices, vendor management, contract management, budgeting, and relationship management
- Detailed knowledge of, and experience with, contracts, including knowledge of leases and facilities related agreements
- Analytical and financial skills necessary to develop and comprehend strategic plans and budgets
- Strong project management skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong comunnication skills, leadership
- Availability to travel internationally
- Fluent in English
- Basic Knowledge in Systems Management ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 will be a plus
