Compliance Laboratory Engineer - Porcia, Italy
The Compliance Electronic Laboratory Engineer is in charge to manage the test, measurement and calibration activities of the laboratory in order to assess the compliance of our electronics and products to the laws and norms regarding product safety and the internal Electrolux rules and in particular the Electrolux safety mandatory standard.
A regular day at work:
Objectives:
- To perform tests on electronic components and on our product in line with internal Electrolux rules and international standards
- To support the internal network of global and regional agency certification laboratories and an external common network of recognized laboratories for the test activities, measurements and calibrations
- To implement the requirements of the norm ISO/IEC 17025
- Feedback the test results and preliminary analysis with constructive approach to Product Architecture Governance Centre (PAGC), to Regional product Development (RPD), to GTD Laboratories and GTD E&E
- Key operational responsibilities
- To be able to perform test, measurement and calibration activities of the laboratory
- To ensure compliance with standards (internal CSS and international IEC/EN/UL) of our electronics components and products
- To manage the technical documentation according to the CE or other directives
- To be part of the team on managing the Risk Assessment
- To be part of the team on FMEA analysis

The position requires:
- University Degree in Electronics
- Electronics component knowledge (inverters, sensors, electronic boards )
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisitions system, testing procedures and evaluations of results
- Project planning competence
- Willing to travel
It is a plus to have:
- Fabric Care product knowledge
- Good experience working with electronic systems available for laboratory purpose
