All about the role:Join us as a crucial member of our Procurement Organization in the role of a Procurement Project Intern. You will play an instrumental part in the transformation of our organization, driving the development and execution of pivotal projects focused on improving our supply flexibility. This includes mapping trade flows with higher future tariff potential, mapping HS (Harmonized System) codes by part level for better visibility, and consolidating key backup supplier action plans to mitigate potential risks, ensuring that we maintain an agile, cost-effective and resilient supply chain.
As a Procurement Project Intern, you will also have the opportunity to support the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process mapping, identifying and fixing bottlenecks, and tracking and improving contract compliance.
What you'll do:As a Procurement Project Intern, you will:
Lead the development and execution of a project focused on mapping trade flows with higher future tariff potential or high geopolitical risk.Map HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes by part level to gain better visibility into potential tariff impacts.Consolidate key backup supplier action plans to help mitigate potential risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive project execution.Support the subsequent project phase of mapping the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process to identify and fix bottlenecks to make the category management process more efficient.Track and improve contract compliance across various categories.Develop insightful reports and visualizations to present findings and recommendations.Qualifications:University Degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or Management Information Systems.Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Bonus points:Experience with project management or procurement-related internships.Knowledge of HS (Harmonized System) codes and international trade regulations.Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.Hands-on experience with data analysis and reporting.
