**Responsibilities**:
- Drive and shape forecasting process improvements in the regions.
- Oversees the development of software programs, algorithms and automated processes that cleanse, integrate and evaluate large data sets from multiple disparate sources.
Identifies and communicates to stakeholders, meaningful, actionable insights from large data and metadata sources.
- Lead the generation and optimization of the statistical forecast, managing different countries worldwide (monthly analysis of the statistical forecast)
- Report and monitor a set of metrics (e.g.
MAPE, BIAS,...) to measure forecast performance.
- Lead advance analytics projects focused on discovery new solutions and technologies that aim to reach a new maturity level in statistical forecasting and digital capabilities across Janssen (new statistical forecast techniques, advance digital solutions).
- Drive the one global repository concept to ensure data availability and transparency to our stakeholders.
- Continuously assess processes with an innovative mindset to drive future improvements.
- Continuous improvement of the current reporting tools and solutions being the main point of contact with the IT business Lead and external developers

- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required with a Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent preferred.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience with statistical tools/computational software (ex.
R, Matlab), programming languages (not a specific language), data visualization tools (ex.
Qlik, Tableau), and databases is required.
- Experience in a Supply Chain role is preferred.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and capability to understand how this model can be applied in real business situations is required.
- Be able to act as an interface between business and external tech consultant, representing the business during all phase of the projects is required.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills are required, including ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business, able to partner with resources from different departments and at different levels of expertise is required.
- Ability to embed a culture of harmonization and process improvement and value creation is preferred.
- This position is located in EMEA, and may require up to 20% travel both internationally and domestically.
