About the jobJoin Franke as a Global Category Manager Glasses, Metal Parts and Filters, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our global procurement strategy.
Partnering with Product Marketing, R&D, and Operations, you'll drive innovation by optimizing and harmonizing our product portfolio.
By analyzing supplier footprints and uncovering new opportunities, you'll create value and enhance efficiency while streamlining the supplier base to maximize impact.

ResponsibilitiesCategory Management
• Develop medium and long-term sourcing strategy in collaboration with CMO, R&D, and Operation Team to ensure best TCO and security of supply for Franke.
• Align strategy and tactics with other key stakeholders.
• Communicate strategy to the organization to support implementation.
• Contract management.
• RFQ Management.
• Establish cooperation between specifier (Marketing, Innovation & Operation) and purchasing involving Quality and SCM.
Supplier Relationship and Portfolio Management
• Lead negotiations on a group level.
• Target lowest global costs and highest value for Franke globally.
• Manage relationship with strategic suppliers.
• Actively manage the portfolio in order to benefit from a group approach toward appliances suppliers.
• Guarantee supply availability.
Project Management
• Continuously analyze the supply market to identify new opportunities.
• Align with all relevant business functions in achieving strategic company targets.
• Secure sharing of information and support for the local organizations and business units.
• Develop and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Implement the use of framework agreements on projects as directed.
Continuous Improvement of Value and Quality
• Implement, support and ensure the use of relevant strategic sourcing processes across the group.
• Identify and implement cost savings opportunities.
• Communicate, cooperate and involve relevant stakeholders in order to drive the overall strategy.
• Support and actively promote the Procurement function.
• Engage and secure an open and direct dialogue with stakeholders.
• Improve supplier service level, payment and logistic terms.
Leadership
• Link with local and central Marketing and quality teams.
• Connect with supply chain to ensure proper coordination around projects.
• Implement procurement strategy and policies.
Requirements• 5-10 years within Purchasing.
• Experience in a Matrix environment.
• Experience managing internal and external customers.
• Ability to travel internationally (30-50%).
• Post Graduate education.
• Commercial or technical education.
• Fluent in English.
• ERP background – SAP preferred but not mandatory.
