Chiesi Corporate FunctionsThese are the functions supporting the business: Global HRGlobal Finance, Procurement & ITGroup Legal & Corporate AffairsGlobal Communication & External RelationsTransformationGlobal Strategy, Sustainability and Growth (SSG) Who we are looking forPurposeBelonging to the Global Direct Procurement team, the position reports to the Global Category Lead API & Excipients and is in charge of Procurement of API & Excipients at Corporate level.Main ResponsibilitiesExecute spend analysis and forecast for API & Excipients categoryIdentify and bring savings and cost avoidance opportunitiesEnsure Market Analysis for the most critical raw materials, guarantying the updating of market drivers and price trendsGuarantee the correct process of supplier engagement and selection (e.g.
: RFI, bidding, financial analysis,tendering, offer alignment and evaluation, approval process, rating etc.)
in accordance with Procurement policies and proceduresManage the Direct Materials Standard Costs preparation in accordance with Chiesi timeline and proceduresEnsure the supplier qualification process in accordance with Chiesi Sustainable Procurement guidelinesGive guidance to the Operations colleagues and involve them in the suppliers evaluationIdentify areas of improvement on the quality of services or goods and grant all company procedures and policies are respectedManage the Suppliers Portfolio consistently between Supplier Criticality, Sourcing Strategy and Risk Analysis and properly manage the Strategic Suppliers fostering partnership relationshipsDefine and monitor KPIs in order to analyse results, define and share corrective actions, keep track of buying performanceDefine, share, negotiate, evaluate and renew Supply Agreements, leveraging on company volumes and guaranteeing the respect of Procurement, Legal and Sustainability guidelinesManage and follow-up of industrial purchase ordersManage any potential litigation with suppliersPreparation & management of supplier interviews in collaboration with the internal departments (SupplyChain, Production, Quality Assurance, etc.
