The Global Commodity Leader is responsible for Strategic definition and management of a sourcing category (MS equipment integrated systems).
In this role you'll be responsible to plan, drive and implement Direct material spend purchasing activities under defined categories to meet supplier's performance to DII standards.You'll have an opportunity to lead high level business and strategic negotiations in line with company strategy and partnering with senior management and key internal stakeholders.What you will do:Accountable to design, communicate and execute a roadmap for the annual plan and long-term strategy.Ensure the bottom-up alignment of the sourcing activities with the top targets (productivity, TC improvements).
Engage with key stakeholders on spend, budget visibility, defined roadmaps and driving adhesion to commodity strategy.Supply base risk Management (yearly plan and risk mitigation).Define and manage the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) including contracting.Contributes to the global Direct Material Supply Base Performance.
Ensure consistent application of all sourcing levers.
Accountable for the setting of and achievement of the objectives of cost optimization and supply base optimization.
Pilot Sourcing KPIs, Ensure compliance and application of sourcing process.Represent commodities within the Product Division organization (innovation, supplier selection, etc.).
Support NPI, obsolescence, phase-out…Discipline continuous improvement: policy, procedures, tools and reporting.Ensure all Dover standards are communicated and applied by suppliers: Ethical standards, compliance to international and local regulations, Trade compliance, Environmental and safety standards…What you need to have:Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred), Business Administration, Purchasing or similar5+ years' experience in a similar role in an industrial and international environmentStrong entrepreneurial spirit with strong business acumenExcellent communication and negotiation skills and ability to partner with senior management and executives, leadership and stakeholder management skillsResults driven in a structured approach and build complex contractual agreementsExcel and MS office solid skills, ERP knowledge, SAP is a plusItalian and English fluent (please provide an English version of your CV)Availability to travel on a regular basis both locally and globallyWhat we offer:Home-office policy (2 days working from home/week)Private Health insuranceLife insuranceReferral ProgramFlexible start and finish time (verify the role)You'll only be the right candidate if you are aligned to our values and culture:Winning through customersHigh ethical standards, openness and trustExpectations for resultsRespect and value peopleIf you believe you match our values and have the experience we're looking for, then apply!
