DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role As the Global Business Process Owner (GBPO) for Order to Cash (O2C) processes, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end O2C activities on a global scale. The GBPO ensures that O2C processes are standardized, efficient, and align with best practices to meet organizational objectives. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company's revenue cycle management, improving cash flow, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with various departments, including Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT, to drive transformation, manage change, and support technology integration within the O2C process.
Strategic Process Ownership Own and govern global Order to Cash (O2C) processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and objectives. Define and maintain global O2C process standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. Work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to ensure alignment on O2C processes and goals. Develop and execute a roadmap for O2C process improvement, automation, and innovation to improve performance and efficiency. Lead efforts to standardize O2C processes across regions, including credit management, billing, collections, cash application, etc. Identify and pursue continuous improvement and optimization of O2C processes; support digital transformation initiatives such as RPA and AI-driven solutions. Collaborate with Digital, Strategy & other teams on the operational implementation of new digital business models (cloud-based, subscription-based, Hyperscalers…). Collaborate with IT and Operations to integrate and enhance systems supporting the O2C process, including ERP, CRM, and billing platforms; drive and monitor progress on O2C initiatives using the Group project management software (Jira). Support the development of dashboards and analytical tools to track process performance, leveraging BI and Process Mining technologies. Support implementation of KPIs defined by different Group stakeholders (Business, Treasury, FP&A, etc.) to assess the performance of the O2C process. Change Management and Training: Lead change management initiatives for process updates and system changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. Develop and oversee training programs for O2C process changes to ensure knowledge transfer across global teams and maximize buy-in and adoption. Provide operational support and guidance to operational teams (including at the country level) to resolve issues and maintain process integrity. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you The ideal O2C Global Business Process Owner: Master's degree in Finance, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field; 5–8 years of experience in business consulting, process ownership, financial auditing, or controlling. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies is a plus. Strong knowledge of end-to-end O2C processes, process modeling (e.g., MS Visio, Aris), and improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma. Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems; experience with Oracle NetSuite is an advantage. Familiarity with tools like PowerBI, Celonis, and advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Fluent in English; French is a plus. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills. Availability to travel internationally as needed, up to 30%.
