Global Business Controlling Director - Group International ControllingResponsible to supervise the Group's controlling function, developing analysis of accounting information to appraise profitability, capital expenditures and performance against budget to facilitate Top Management business decision making.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Budgeting: Consolidates Group budget plans from Country/Business lines cost center to breaks down into defined allocation supporting C-Level Managers with budget/plans definition and adjustments.Budget Review & Forecasting: Consolidates Group's business forecasts and develops periodical updates.Financial Reporting: Provides standard and ad hoc reports on core financial data to facilitate management decisions, supporting with qualitative comments on financial data.Financial Analysis: Analyzes Group forecast and trends in order to highlight in advance risks of variance from targets to management.Controlling Process Improvement: Guarantees the alignment of all Countries business controlling activities (planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting…) to controlling requirements and principles of the Group.Process Enhancement: Improves budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, addressing Group and business Manager's needs.Business Analysis: Provides scenarios/business case, in-depth business analyses, reports and proposes initiatives to meet plan and create business opportunities.Data Reliability: Ensures the data reliability of all Group reporting in terms of accuracy, quality and timing - shares best practices.Culture Improvement: Improves a culture of business partnership between Finance community and within the team.Team Management: Responsible for the management and development of the Regional and HQ Controllers, ensuring high levels of staff retention and productivity.Performance Appraisal: Manages the Performance appraisal of around 10 direct reports, setting goals and KPIs and monitoring their achievement.RequirementsMust Have: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.At least 8 years business controlling experience, managing a team with international coverage.Background in a multinational and multiplants Group.At least one significant experience in an Italian HQ is required.Ability to drive decision making.Strategic Influence.Quickness and responsiveness.Fluent English knowledge.Nice to Have: Services company experience.Manufacturing background is preferable.WorkplaceCompanyThe client company is one of the most reputable multi-brand multinational companies in the market with Italian governance.
