The role involves global travel , as such flexibility is an important aspect to consider.Maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure their business needs are metCoordinate end-customer calls and visits to drive product and system salesNegotiate contracts and support established price strategiesUnderstand customer requirements and develop appropriate solutionsCollaborate with regional and global teams to set engagement and growth strategiesIdentify prospects and implement account penetration strategiesProvide regular updates on new business opportunities and sales pipelineStay informed about industry relationships, partnerships, and competitor activitiesAttend industry events to develop a network with key playersAct as a liaison between the field and support functionsUse project mining tools to identify and assess potential new customersYou HaveBachelor's degree required, preferably in a technical field such as EngineeringIdeally 7+ years of experience, with exposure to electrical/automation environment as a plusProficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office packageExcellent listening skills and professional interpersonal skills:You are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess a high energy!Valid driver's license.WE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayAt nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
