Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Sales Leader to join our Siemens Grid Software sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling software as a service (SaaS) solution, with experience in theenergy distributionindustry.
This is a a Global key role across Europe and LATAM to drive the growth of a Multinational DSO. The Global Account Director will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets in a global DSO.
Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base in theglobal DSO
Build and maintainstrong relationshipswith customer's key stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform sales strategies and tactics

Requirements:

Extensive and validated professional background insoftware selling, software deal shaping and SaaS business
Consistent knowledge ofEnergy Italian market- Utilities, Oil & Gas and renewable market and experience in dealing with different go to market, from product based to solution-based businesses
Excellent communication, influencing and networking skills across all hierarchical levels and especially with C-level customers
Experience and attitude to collaborate and build business opportunities through the other sales channels (Channel Partner, Distributors, Service and Verticals)
Be a champion in handling complexity and have a successful record of organizational change / Cultural Transformation initiatives
Sales operational experience and data driven attitude is a relevant plus
Proficiency inItalianandEnglish,Spanishwould be a plus
Great teammate, strong communication & interpersonal skills
Being a role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non-negotiable cultural element
Resident inRome area is a plus
