We are looking for a German Linguist and Localization Specialist to join our team and help improve localization of multiple Agoda products.

Responsibilities:
Maintain quality of product translation/localizationTranslate English content (site updates, hotel content, press releases, travel articles, promotional emails and newsletters)Recruit, manage and supervise freelance translatorsEnsure freelance translations meet required deadlines and quality standardsProvide localization ideas and add a linguistic perspective to developmentConduct product reviews for inconsistencies and localization issuesAnalyze language specific data to optimize website and campaign performanceConduct marketing activities to increase visibility of Agoda and website traffic within the target marketResearch and identify local partnership opportunitiesAssist with interdepartmental requests Desired skills and experience:
Native German speaker with excellent writing skillsUniversity or College Degree in languages, translation or localizationExperience in translations preferably using a CAT toolGood English skills, internet knowledge and comfortable with researchStrong organizational and time management skillsAble to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcel and basic HTML knowledge is a plusTravel industry experience is a plus Equal Opportunity Employer
