Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Record test data, observations, and relevant parameters accurately and legibly in laboratory notebooks or electronic databases.
- Analyze test results, interpret findings, and prepare summary reports documenting test procedures, results, and conclusions.
- Collaborate with geotechnical engineers and project managers to communicate test findings and contribute to the development of geotechnical recommendations and design parameters.
Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC):
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of laboratory testing procedures and results.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment regularly to meet industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Participate in proficiency testing programs and internal audits to validate laboratory performance and compliance with applicable regulations.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with laboratory operations, handling of hazardous materials, and use of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, including proper storage and disposal of samples and chemicals, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
