Dettagli della offerta

Unleash your energy within! Be a part of the EDC Team! Resource Evaluation for Growth and Sustainability
(1) Project Generation - identify growth opportunities thru the conduct of Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and country assessments, prospect rating and ranking, reconnaissance surveys, and participation in bidding processes
conduct geological and geostructural assessment on various geothermal projects based on existing data
conduct reconnaissance geological surveys to gather additional data (or validation of existing data) for prospects that have limited geological information
integrate geological assessment with other geoscientific data to determine resource potential
identify risks and develop mitigation measures
prioritize various geothermal projects based on overall assessment of resource potential and associated risks
recommend whether to pursue the project or not
provide support in the preparation of bid documents for projects being offered in bidding processes
provide additional technical support in the commercial/financial evaluation of the project as may be required
(2) Project Development - for advanced projects
preparation of detailed work program, budget requirements and manpower assignments for the programmed geological survey
secure all necessary permits and clearances for the conduct of the geological survey
ensure all logistical and administrative preparations are emplaced prior to field deployment for the geological survey
implement the geological survey with focus on safety and compliance with the work program and budget
conduct detailed geological and structural surveys for refined resource evaluation and assessment of well drilling targets
Provide technical inputs to the financial modeling of the projects such as preparing layouts of the development plan
Establish geological models using 3D modeling softwares (e.g. Leapfrog, ArcGIS, etc.) to visualize and gain better understanding of subsurface data, integrating data from various geoscientific disciplines
Update the geological database in Integra by uploading/inputting data gathered from geological surveys and well drilling
Prepare well design and geological prognosis for wells to be drilled in exploration areas and collaborate with relevant groups to produce an optimum drilling program
Conduct wellsitting activities in the drilling of wells in exploration areas
(3) Resource Sustainability Support for Existing/operating Sites - expansion studies, wellsitting, 3D modeling, hydrogeology
Execute detailed geological and structural survey in the expansion areas of existing sites and integrate data with geochemistry and geophysics to determine resource extent and evaluate areas for targeting
Update 3D models by incorporating new data from recently drilled wells
Conduct hydrogeological studies to characterize interplay of geothermal fluids, formation, and structures and be used in resource management strategies
Conduct fault assessment of wells that may be needed in the preparation of well design and geological prognosis
Conduct fault assessment and review subsurface data for workover and other well intervention initiatives
Prepare well design and geological prognosis for wells to be drilled in operating sites, if necessary
Offer wellsitting services for infill wells in existing project sites, if possible
Business Continuity and Asset Protection
Provide technical assistance to regular geohazard assessments conducted in the company's existing facilities, including other Lopez-owned sites
Spearhead in the management of projects related to geohazards (e.g. seismic hazard assessments, ground deformation, volcano monitoring, etc.) that aims to protect the company's critical facilities from potential failure caused by geologic processes
Conduct special geohazard assessments in other EDC facilities (e.g. city offices, laboratories, etc.) on a per request basis
Identify risks related to activities being undertaken by the geology team and provide appropriate controls
regularly monitor and update risk matrix
Identify geoscientific innovations and interventions that aim on process improvement and operational risks reduction
Lead or participate in special studies (e.g. hydrogeological/hydrological studies, etc.) to mitigate generation risks
Identify most suitable location for new pads based on accessibility of area/ resource, geohazard impact and permeability assessment through tabletop studies and actual ground visits
Prepare indicative development plans on expansion areas such as identification of favorable pad locations and general well target
Regulatory Compliance and Comprehensive Stakeholder Management
(1) DOE and other stakeholder requirements
Comply with requirements from DOE such as commitments to the work programs, presentations to GEMD, and report submissions
(2) Permitting and Liaison Requirements
Serve as technical liaison during EDC engagements with various stakeholders
Fulfill permitting requirements by various stakeholders such as attendance to meetings and presentations to LGUs, DENR-PAMB, and other regulatory entities
Safety Culture Transformation and Maturity
(1) Regular update and review of JHA and Risk Register
(2) Compliance to safety training requirements - First Aid and Basic Life Support, Wilderness Survival, HEAT, Rope 101, Biological Hazards
(3) Development of Permitting System for Exploration Areas
(4) Continuous monitoring and upgrading of PPEs
(5) Comply with EDC reporting system on HSE - First Alerts, Good Catch, Safety Conversations, etc.
About Us Who We Are Energy Development Corporation is a geothermal energy industry pioneer and the recognized world leader in wet steam field technology. In the Philippines, EDC is the largest vertically integrated geothermal company, delivering 1,475MW of clean and renewable energy. We continue to diversify our renewable energy portfolio through investments in hydropower, solar power and wind energy projects in the Philippines. With almost 40 years of geothermal mastery, EDC is set to deliver the benefits of sustainable geothermal development to communities around the world as it ventures into Latin America and Indonesia.
EDC is part of the First Gen Corporation ("First Gen") Group, which has the largest portfolio of power plants using clean and renewable technology in the Philippines. First Gen's 16 power generation plants have a combined capacity of 2,763MW. First Gen has one of the cleanest power portfolios in the country with its entire power generation portfolio utilizing fuels such as geothermal steam, water, and natural gas.
Wind power complements EDC's existing power generation assets including the baseload geothermal plants, as well as, the Pantabangan hydroelectric plant, which serves as a peaking plant.
EDC has become the leading geothermal energy producer in the Philippines through the successful development and operation of numerous geothermal energy projects. Since 1983, the Company has successfully developed, financed, built, and operated seven geothermal steamfields in five geothermal contract areas, containing both wet and dry steam. These steamfields currently supply geothermal steam to geothermal power plants with an aggregate installed capacity of 1,130 MW. In addition, the Company currently, directly and indirectly, owns and operates eleven geothermal power plants with a total installed capacity of 1,181 MW. EDC, through its indirect wholly owned subsidiary Green Core Geothermal, Inc., operates the 192.5MW Palinpinon and 112.5MW Tongonan geothermal power plants. Bacman Geothermal, Inc., another indirect wholly owned subsidiary of EDC, operates the 130MW Bacman geothermal power plant. The Company believes this track record has enabled it to develop the expertise needed to assess the feasibility of future acquisitions and greenfield projects, ensure the safe and efficient construction of power plants, and provide for efficient power plant operations.
We have the best-qualified and trained professionals, technical people and support staff who persist in always bringing EDC to industry leadership. The company's geothermal team has over 40 years of technical and management experience in the geothermal industry.
