Unleash your energy within! Be a part of the EDC Team! The Geochemist plans and implements geochemical projects, continuously improves the execution of geochemical investigations, special studies and innovations in a safe and efficient manner, within allocated budget. The activities include, but are not limited to, geochemical surveys, soil gas surveys, technical due diligence, tabletop studies, geochemical modeling, geoscientific/interdisciplinary integration, and other special studies in aid of geothermal exploration, geothermal well targeting, resource management, and improvements in geochemical best practices.
He/she reviews analysis of survey results and budget performance to ensure accurate assessment. He/she provides recommendations on whether to proceed or not to proceed with a geothermal project or specific project delineation and/or expansion areas based on the combined assessment with other geoscientific disciplines. He/she coaches team members on technical evaluation and budget performance, ensures correct information is recorded in the geochemical database, and works within budget to satisfactorily meet client requirements.
He/she identifies and proposes specific topics and areas for the conduct of research, development and improvement of geochemical assessment methodologies and techniques on field and lab geochemistry. He/she addresses resource management and sustainability issues, develops new geochemical methods in geothermal investigation, and conducts geochemical modeling.
