CRF seeks an undergraduate student worker to support general office functions.
Student workers will have numerous opportunities to develop professional skills through writing, editing, outreach, and events.
This position reports to CRF's Senior Administrative Assistant.ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Operations: Greeting all guests to the CRF -Office of Education Abroad (OEA) office suite; checking in appointments; answering in-person and phone inquiries; editorial projects; data projects; supporting CRF staff on programmatic needs.Events: Provide support with events, including the autumn Student Research Symposium, February Presidential Scholars Interview Program.
Creating and editing promotional materials.Outreach: Assist in outreach and recruitment of candidates for external scholarships and fellowships, such as the Fulbright U.S. Student Program and other awards.
Promote CRF through on-campus tabling and orientation events (occasionally on weekends/evenings).Other duties and projects as assigned.RequirementsStudents from any major or program on campus are welcome to apply for this position.
We are looking for someone with:Strong interpersonal/customer service skills.
This role involves frequent interaction with students, staff, and external stakeholders like Villanova applicants, parents, and high school guidance counselors including in person and on the phone.An interest in writing, proofreading, and editorial work.Willingness to take initiative.Reliability, time management, and organizational skills.This position requires the ability to discreetly manage sensitive information in accordance with University and FERPA confidentiality guidelines.Additional InformationCRF is open 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
