**Job Summary**:
As the General Manager for Moxy Pompei, you will lead the charge in delivering the unique Moxy experience, blending affordable luxury with a playful atmosphere. We're seeking a dynamic leader with 1-3 years of previous GM experience, ideally with a background in lifestyle hotel brands. Fluent Italian is a must, and eligibility to work in the EU is required.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Business Strategy Development**:
- Explore new business opportunities and develop business plans that align with Moxy's brand strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends and monitor the strengths and weaknesses of competitors.
- Translate Marriott's global strategic plan into executable strategies for the property.
**Business Strategy Execution**:
- Execute business plans to maximize guest satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
- Hold the property leadership team accountable for successful delivery of business plans.
- Experiment with new ideas to enhance guest satisfaction and profitability, taking calculated risks when needed.
**Sales and Marketing**:
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to develop revenue-generating strategies specific to the Moxy brand.
- Identify new business leads and actively pursue opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
**Business Information Analysis**:
- Review business-related data such as financial performance and guest satisfaction.
- Proactively address changing market conditions to ensure the property operates within budgetary guidelines.
- Use business information to identify indicators of success and areas for improvement, integrating findings into business plans.
**Talent Management and Organizational Capability**:
- Create a cohesive and high-performance team, fostering a positive and innovative work environment.
- Coach the leadership team, providing specific feedback and holding them accountable for performance.
**Employee and Labor Relations**:
- Ensure fair and respectful treatment of all employees, fostering open communication and engagement.
- Celebrate employee success and work with Human Resources to maximize engagement.
**Customer and Public Relations Management**:
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback, recognizing outstanding service and addressing potential service failures.
- Anticipate the needs of guests to deliver flawless service and ensure positive publicity.
**Company/Brand Policy, Procedures, and Standards Compliance**:
- Ensure property compliance with legal, safety, and Moxy brand standards.
- Conduct routine quality assurance audits and walk-throughs to maintain high standards.
- Hold employees accountable for performing audits regularly and ensure appropriate training.
**Qualifications**:
**Experience**: 1-3 years of luxury GM experience, preferably in lifestyle brands.
**Language Skills**: Fluent in Italian, with effective communication skills in English.
**Leadership Abilities**: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
**Strategic Thinker**: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
**Revenue Management**: Experience in driving revenue strategies and maximizing property profitability.
