Job Overview The most successful candidate will have an authentic passion for the hospitality industry, a record of success in a fast-paced environment, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The General Manager will effectively be the CEO of Aethos Hotels.
The candidate will be in charge of managing the property with the support of a highly talented team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in experiential hospitality, including member clubs and destination restaurants.
The candidate will be an effective leader and must be a true ambassador of the Aethos brand.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Analyze the business, budget, and related KPIs, as well as create networks and partnerships with industry and local stakeholders.
Analyze and manage the budget and financial forecasts to achieve revenue and profitability goals, with full PL responsibility.
Identify revenue growth opportunities through strategic pricing, menu, and innovative marketing initiatives.
Implement the best activities and strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Oversee the operations and service of the various departments within the facility to ensure effective synergy between departments and high-quality service.
Train, motivate, and coordinate a team of professionals, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Supervise the quality of service and facilities, with particular attention to the maintenance and care of the hotel.
Monitor adherence to service standards and customer experience, ensuring a high-level experience for guests throughout their stay.
Verify the correct application of standards and optimal management of internal operational processes with a view to continuous improvement.
Create a safe and inclusive environment for colleagues and guests.
Motivate the team to achieve their goals by providing continuous feedback and discussing personal and professional development opportunities.
Core Competencies Fluent in English Italian is a must.
Proven experience as a General Manager/Hotel Manager in establishments with highly complex FB operations.
In-depth knowledge of the hospitality sector and market trends.
Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
A motivated leader who enjoys leading a diverse and joyful team, capable of creating a passionate, friendly, and high thriving work environment.
Strong communication skills.
Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
Flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage is common.
Ability to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticism.
Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions.
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, while remaining genuine.
