Job Title : General Maintenance Engineer Project Description : The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing various labor and maintenance functions as directed within a diverse range of services provided by the division. These services include, but are not limited to, hydroblasting, catalyst handling, chemical cleaning, vacuum and sewer truck operation, tank cleaning, dewatering, and other maintenance-related tasks. Key Responsibilities : Perform labor and helper functions under supervision for all services provided by the division, including hydroblasting, catalyst handling, chemical cleaning, vacuum and sewer truck operating, tank cleaning, dewatering, and other relevant work assignments. Ensure all maintenance and labor tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and with a focus on quality. Operate necessary equipment and machinery with safety and compliance, including performing basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance. Assist senior technicians and engineers with more complex tasks and systems. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in the workplace, fostering teamwork and collaboration with all team members. Comply with all safety and environmental regulations, reporting any issues or hazards immediately. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Support special projects and tasks as needed, including responding to urgent maintenance requests and ensuring minimal downtime for operational systems. Qualifications : High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in general maintenance, industrial labor, or a related field is preferred. Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance and safety protocols. Ability to work with various types of industrial equipment and machinery. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions. Work Schedule : Primary shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional Saturday coverage and overtime as needed. Compensation and Benefits : Competitive salary based on experience.
